Rename host

An access control entry (ACE) associates a pool with a group, and grants the access control types.

Prerequisites

See Roles and associated permissions to determine the user roles that can perform this task.

A read only user can view access control entries. You must enter a PIN in order to make changes.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Click Settings icon in the title bar to open the Settings dialog, and click System Access Control > Host Access Control.
  3. To enable active management, enter your Access Control PIN: View access controls
  4. Select the host that you want to rename.
  5. Click Rename Host.
  6. In the Rename Access Host dialog box, type the following information:
    • Host Name
    • New Host Name
  7. Click OK.
